Valley View Farms

Nathan and Chelsey Nelson are the 3rd generation to operate the 160 acre farm they call Valley View Farms.  The farm started with producing all-natural grass fed, grass finished beef, as well as all-natural pork, produce, flowers, pumpkins, vegetables, maple syrup, hay, and eggs.  They are always open for questions if you want to see where your food comes from or see what they do from start to finish!  Baked goods are available on weekends.  Produce includes zucchini, squash, apples, gourds, cornstalks, corn, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cantelopes, eggplants, cucumbers, and potatoes.  Some of the baked goods you can purchase are breads, snicker doodles, cookies, cakes, and candied pecans.

They are a New York State Beef Quality Assurance Certified Producer.  The BQA certification insures animals are treated and cared for in accordance with the highest standards of the NY State Department of Agriculture and the NY State Beef Prodcuers Association.  The cattle are all-natural, meaning they do not receive any growth hormones, low-level antibiotics, animal by-products, or steroids.  They are grass fed and grass finished, meaning their entire diet is forage.  The produce is grown sustainably without the use of chemicals and synthetic fertilizers.

The Nelsons also have a screen printing & embroidery business called "Farm Fresh & Homemade".  They do custom embroidery, small quiltings jobs (table runners, candle mats, lap blankets, and baby blankets), and have pre-designed t-shirts, towels, and hooded towels.  They made rustic home decor signs.

You can purchase products from their roadside stand and greenhouse at the Farm or find them at the Ellicottville Farmer's Market.  Find them on Facebook
