Game of Logging Chainsaw Safety Level 1

Chainsaws are one power tool people can use to manage vegetation. They are efficient and productive and used in different industries. They are common items found in the garage or sheds of homeowners. They are dangerous if not used correctly. All chainsaw users are encouraged to properly maintain their equipment and learn professional standards to reduce the risk for injury when using chainsaws.

Cattaraugus County Cornell Cooperative Extension in partnership with Bill Lindloff's ProCuts are hosting a Chainsaw Safety and Operation: Game of Logging Level 1 Certification training on Wednesday, May 28th and Level 2 Certification on Thursday, May 29th 7:30am to sunset at the Peirce Whittney Forest, Machias (Cattaraugus County) NY. Participants will earn a Game of Logging Level 1 certificate after completing the entire day of training.

This training is open to anyone that wants to learn about chainsaw safety and maintenance.
