Learn How to Safely Use Pesticides

Learn how to safely use pesticides with live instructors and hands on examples. The course will cover Pesticides in the environment, safety, reading labels, safe transportation and storage, as well as sprayer calibration. Completion of this course will prepare you for safe application or DEC Core Certification in your category.

This is a 2 hour course instructed by the NYSDEC in preparation for the pesticide applicator test that will be given at the same location the following week on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:00am. Attendees of this class will be able to register for the test at this course.
