Join Master Gardener Dinah Hovey from Cornell Cooperative Extension, as she takes you on a journey into the wonderful world of soil health.
The Soil Food Web is a whole community of organisms, big and tiny, helpful and harmful, that live (and die) in the soil. These microorganisms and macroorganisms function to decompose plant and animal organic matter as well as inorganic nutrient-minerals and to thereby grow new plants. These organisms feed and protect the plants. But first, the plants feed them! Join us to learn more into this fascinating topic!
The event will be held in person at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Cattaraugus County Building: 28 Parkside Drive Ellicottville, New York, 14731
