Chickens are a popular addition to backyard gardens. Are you considering raising chickens? On May 23rd we will be hosting a fun event answering all your questions about raising chickens at home, for food, fun or part of your garden pest management program.
Our 4-H Team and local Master Gardeners have teamed up to discuss everything you should know about caring for backyard poultry followed by a spring “mocktail” event. Learn some fun drinks you can make/serve using some ingredients from your backyard or local farmstand, even if you don’t raise chickens.
Non-alcoholic drinks and finger food/snacks will be available. We hope you will stay and mingle to discuss your flock or get your questions answered from our teams. All ages are welcome to attend.
