WNY Food Hub Grower Meeting February 23rd

Eden Valley Growers (EVG), a farmer-owned cooperative and the owner/operator of the Western NY Food Hub, invites you to attend an information session on how they will provide technical assistance and support for farmers interested in selling to the Western NY Food Hub. Eden Valley Growers, along with their project partners Cornell Cooperative Extension and Field & Fork Network, will host the meeting February 23, 2017 at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County, from 11am-1pm, location is to be announced.  

The agenda will include:

  • Information and background on EVG and the development of the food hub,
  • What EVG can offer/what EVG is looking for, to include specific criteria
  • How the project team can help growers that want to sell to the hub through training and technical assistance with regards to GAP certification, post harvest handing, packing, sorting, et cetera.
  • Q&A
  • Lunch will be provided for all attendees
