Farmers Assuring Responsible Management
FARM, or Farmers Assuring Responsible Management, is a program open to all dairy farmers, co-ops and processors across the U.S. that sets the highest standards when it comes to animal care. Coops in NY are requiring farms that ship to them participate in FARM with the first deadline looming on Jan 1st for some. Dr. Kim Morrill is actively involved in the program and is a trained evaluator. Kim will provide an overview of the program.
