"Nature Activities for Kids" for the entire hour and a half. Create sock critters, propagate new plants, check out 'living' soil with magnifying glass, create a miniature moss garden, build a fairy garden to leave among the Arboretum's trees. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This topic will include many Master Gardeners.
The Nannen Arboretum is hosting a Wednesday Nights Series with the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell University and the Cooperative Extension of Cattaraugus County. These will include FREE gardening lectures, with two topics each Wednesday night. Lectures will be held in the Norhtrup nature Hall and Chapman Nature Sanctuary in the beautiful surroundings of the Nannen Arboretum. First topic will run from 7:00pm-7:45pm, and the second will follow from 7:45pm to 8:30pm.
