Winter Field Crop and Vegetable Meetings Laing-Gro and Cornell Cooperative Extension host Winter Programming for Producers

Laing-Gro, Division of Timac in collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension will be hosting their annual Winter Field Crop and Vegetable meetings in early February. These meetings, designed for field crop and vegetable producers will highlight industry updates and pesticide safety education for the 2026 growing season. DEC recertification credits will be available for attendees at each meeting. CCA continuing education credits will be available at the field crop meeting.

The events will be hosted at the Langford Firehall, located at 3901 Langford Road, North Collins, NY 14111. There is no cost to attend, and lunch will be provided for attendees. Register for either meeting by calling Laing-Gro at 716-992-3830 by January 27, 2026.

These events will highlight the use of biostimulants, fertility management, reducing risk with bio-pesticides, and pesticide safety. Additionally, crop protection products like herbicides, insecticides and fungicides will be highlighted as they relate to their production area. Each event will have unique content tailored to the production systems they focus on, including neonicotinoid seed treatments in field crops, and diamondback moth management in brassicas.

  • DEC recertification credits available: 3 in CORE, 1a, 10, & 21
  • 3 CEU’s available in Integrated Pest Management and Crop Management

 

Vegetable Meeting

 

  • Date: February 4, 2026
  • Time: 9:25am – 3:30pm, doors open at 9:00 AM
  • DEC recertification credits available: 1.25 in CORE, 1.75 in 1a & 23
